My oils are painted on 1.5” deep stretched gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted black so the canvas is ready for presentation; framing isn't necessary. If you prefer to frame your painting, you may request a 3/4” deep canvas.

 

Upon receiving your photographs, on occasion I may suggest a more unusual size canvas for your specific portrait.  For example, some poses may have more visual impact on a longer more narrow canvas.
